Timeline of Music

This is my basic timing plan of the music video, obviously it will not pan out the same in practice but I will attempt to use this a s a rough plan.

00:05 - establishing shots begin changing with the beat

00:11 - cut to the introduction of the woman scene

00:12 - woman turns around/ switches to mid-shot

00:18 - man is introduced with mid-shot/close up

00:40 - cut to performance shot

00:55 - cut back to the action

1:00 - cut to Supermarket scene

1:31 - cut to performance shot

1:45 - back to supermarket scene

1:53 - cut back to performance shot

2:37 - cut to bench scene

3:08 - cut back to performance shot

4:13 - fade to black

Location photos

below I have taken several photographs of locations that I will be using, some of these photos are simply of places that will be used in establishing shots, but others will be used for some of the action. These locations are all local which will be good for me as, with the short travel times, I will have more time to work on the production before it gets dark.

Magazine Advert

I am planning to create a magazine advert to accompany my video release and created album, below is a rough sketch of what this advert will look like. the main image is a repeat of the front cover of the album that it will be promoting, below in large lettering is the name of the album and then much in much smaller lettering is the name/logo of the band "Ellipse".

Digipack

I have created a very rough design for the digipack/ CD case that I am planning to create, below I have sketched out the basic design as well as some annotations about colour and details.

"Ellipse" here being the name of the band and "Midnight Madness" being the name of the Album

Editing Plan

I plan to do all of my editing on Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 as it has a wide range of tools and will allow me to do what I need to my footage, I will most likely only be using this one program as I do not need to implement many effects.

1. Overlaying Text

I am planning on superimposing some text over the top of my video to introduce the song/ give out key details etc.

2. Fades to/ up from black

I will most likely be using fade to black and fade up from black for my video, e.g. at the beginning and end of the video

3. wipes

I plan on using some wipe transitions to change between scenes, this may seem cheesy but they are are an essential part of the style that I am trying to create.

Risk Assessment

I realise that during the course of setting up and filming so I have prepared a chart displaying all the risks that I perceive and the measures that I will go to in order to try to prevent these.
